After the political tsunami in Malaysia, many politicians have joined the blogging bandwagon especially from the federal ruling parties polticians who once think that people read blogs for tourism and information and yet again this came from someone who knows this matter best,Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin. Are you sleeping brother Zam, brother Zam….? Tidur lagi kah?Do note that this was said on 2nd March 2008, a week before the politcal tsunami. Look who is having the last laugh now?

Taib’s Blog

I have to blog this post after seeing The Star ‘advertising’ Muhd Taib’s blog. He did say that bloggers are pondan and cowards. Oh and yes, he gotten himself a blog now,so does it mean he is a pondan and coward? Ooooo..watch what you say, ya! Words said today will hit you back on your face someday if you are not careful. It hit him hard this time.Real hard !! Bear in mind, Muhd Taib is the UMNO Information Chief and for him to come out with such statements, it’s truly shocking.

Dr Khir Toyo

Khir Toyo has a blog as well, no i am not a keen follower but i did notice that he has quite heavy traffic and comments there. Errr..did he employ bogus employees to create such hype in his blog? I did note that many comments are requesting UMNO to change, revamp and REINVENT Barisan Nasional. One clear evidence is that close to 90% of visitors believe that the leadership of UMNO should be reshuffled. Do place your vote, i did vote, for the fun of voting and not that i care. Current result as below.

The Opposition Line-up

Not being bias but i have to admit, somehow the oppositions are way better bloggers maybe due to the fact that they realise that this was the best media to share and to spread their words to the younger generations. Atleast I respect them for this, obviously this is a better way compared to printing millions of streamers, posters, billboards and radio ads. Hell no, this is our money. Our money!

Good reads – Anwar , Kit Siang, Tony Pua, Chong Eng, and Teresa Kok, the sassy MP.

Blogger turned politician

I followed Jeff Ooi’s blog since 2003, no doubt i m not a religious follower but for sure he has got some good stuff in it and it is only obvious he turned politician. Google Jeff Ooi, you will be swamped with 196000 websites or links related to him.

Meeting YB Jeff

I was lucky to be able to meet him in one of my event lately. I have to admit that he is one humble guy. How often do you receive a call from an MP himself asking you about some basic questions about the event? By norm, it will be some ‘kerani’ calling you for such info, but YB Jeff did called me. Thank you for calling Jeff !

My comments

Spend RM105 to buy a domain and hosting here. Cheap and advert free. Don’t be a cheapo. Opposition excusable tho. Blogspot and Wordpress are for kids.

If ever Samy Vellu has a blog (does he has one now) his url will be http://samyvellusangalimuthu.com.my , making it the longest URL in the history of .my domains. Nobody will ever remember. Using snipurl will be good.

Dont get a domain name that has <strike>15</strike> 30 characters and alphabet http://www.muhammadmuhdtaib.com/ because if a 50 years old potential voter would visit your site, it will take them 3 minutes to key in the URL with they old-skool 1 finger typing. Keep it short and sweet (KISS) – www.jeffooi.com or www.ndrutan.com, anything more than that is a no no

You don’t have to use some cheapo clock widgets to look all cool. It’s outdated, its 2008 now not 1988. Cheapo clock was discovered here. What is the function of the clock? Show waktu sembahyang?

You don’t have to put some public visitor counter to show you have XXXXXX visitors so far. You will never beat Britney’s stats. Keep the stats to yourself.

Respond to the comments if possible. I know you guys are busy.

Old man Lim Kit Siang also use Facebook, the rest should follow so you guys can send flower, race a car, vampire bite or better still drink vodka and send a kiss..but its all in Facebook. Anything like that outside Facebook is Haram & Tak Halal.

Don’t use too much of red in your blog (unless DAP members), i tak tahan tengok red, mata sakit.

Make use of YouTube, kasi tunjuk muka, kasi advertise la..

Oh ya,if Khir Toyo wanna do some poll, make sure get some better polling tool. The above shows 10% + 89% =99%. So where is the 1% ? Phantom voters? Lost? Undi rosak? This is so typical. Damn!

To design a good blog, read it here

Thats all, all for the name of fun…its all good..I am waiting for Samy Vellu’s blog.Update me once he has one.
