To sum up my past weeks :

• It has been crazy, super busy at the same time.
• So much to do, so lil time.Living on borrowed time.
• So many people showed me love and support. Wonderful.
• So many distractions. None made me sway from my goal.
• Definitely one of the most productive time of my life.
• I took the leap of faith with a strong belief that it is possible.
• I met some people who sure will change how i see things.

It has been looking good. Looking forward.

What are we waiting for? It is now.

SHOW OFF: 3 devices I'm carrying - iPhone, Bold and Dream

Yup, i have switched camp, from Blackberry to iPhone. After more than a year with my faithful and most trustworthy devide- Bold 9000 i decided to get an iPhone instead. I no longer suffer from berryaddiction. I am good for now.

I have always love how i retrieve mails and reply mails on my BB, the keypad is like the best thing in world. My typo rate was like so damn low and i can type while i am driving (which is something i should not be proud of).

Why i switch ?

• I love the apps – from games to productivity. Basically you can get everything on an iPhone – looking for a sit or squat toilet you can get your bearings from SitOrSquat and there are heaps of sex apps for you if lack creativity in bed. Seriously so many.So many silly ones as well.
• Being productive - i love short cuts, i love working smart, i hate working hard. Half the time i am trying to work less and sleep more. Getting an iPhone did help me a lil. I m starting to get organised with the help of that iPhone of mine. Currently managing 3 accounts with iWallet which i actually paid $2.99 for it, but i do not recommend it, many better ones out there. Evernote is another app that i am starting to use soon for note taking on the go.
• Photog wannabe – i must admit camera and photography app played a major factor in my iPhone purchase. I fell in love instantly with Hipstamatic , how can you not love it ? It’s truly awesome! Other good photography apps – Project 365 (i fail in this area), PS Mobile, QuadCamera and ToyCamera. It feels like i m carrying 1032 cameras at once.For the moment my Diana F and A300 is sitting in my Lowepro bag, i miss them tho.



• Sleep therapy - getting to bed is a challenge to me. To put myself to sleep i play dumb games like Championship Manager 2010 and of course the ever annoying (but highly addictive) Angry Bird.



• Trying to be intelligent – now with iPhone i can read anywhere as long as i have that 2 minutes. Get my sports fix from EuroSport and tech news from Mashable and some WC 2010 apps to keep me updated for the next one month.
• Staying in touch – i still love Ubertwitter but i am using a cracked SimplyTweet for my Twitter activities. Chose this app over other because this app offers push notifications. FB app for iPhone is better than the one on BB. Foursquare (for retards) is on my device as well.
• BORING – i must secretly admit that i was kinda bored with BB and i was giving myself so many stupid reasons to get an iPhone. This has to be like the biggest factor in buying an iPhone.

Do i need to explain more? Will share more in the future.

I was setting up for our property fair when i met this Malay gentleman. He is one of our customer’s contractor. To me he is one of the most special people i met in my life. Why ? He has a cleft lips and also he has only one palm. He do more than what we normally do. What makes him so special ? Without a palm, and with ease he carried large advertising boards, climb the ladder, and install what was needed. He did it just like anyone else, one thing for sure he sure did it better than me. I do not see any incapability when he carried out his job. His lips conditions does not allow him to speak well but i can see that he was doing his best to communicate with his colleagues.

I have the most respect for such person, someone who is so determine, someone who has the emotional strength to overcome all his disability but i truly believe that he does not see himself as a disabled person. He could have opt for something easier or just beg, he chose to work just like you and me. Kudos.

After meeting him, i guess i am one of the luckiest person even though i did not have the best childhood, i do not drive a BMW, i don’t own an Armani suit or anything fancy. I am grateful of what i have. I will always be.

We must feel lucky that we can wake up to a steady job (even though we might hate the job) compared to someone who is bedridden – his bed is his world. We must be thankful that we have laundries and dishes to do, many  has got no cloth covering their body or can’t even have a meal a day.

There are so many reasons for us to feel lucky but often we choose to not to see it that way, instead chasing something we do not have and letting go what we have on hand.

This man in the video is surely someone all should respect. Watch it again if you have watched it because I am sure how must have forgotten how lucky you are. Enjoy.

I have an obsession with office designs and layouts. Looking at pics at Office Snapshots gives me idea on what to do for my future office. I just wish that authors can update this site more regularly with lower res pics coz our #streamyxsucks to the core.

He is my idol- Kevin Rose. Been following him since his days in TechTv and TheBroken.org. The only problem with this bugger is that he rarely update his blog for obvious reasons i suppose – too busy. He shares his insights and predictions mostly about tech and social media. Funny enough, he was the first person i followed on Twitter. Love his taste in sneakers.

This is one site that i will go WOW!!! The Cool Hunter showcase heaps of out of the world artsy fartsy stuff and my first visit to this site was like a drug addiction. One visit is good enough to get you hooked. Visit with caution and be amazed with what awaits you.

Basically i am someone who is always on the move and suffer from ‘Need to Be Connected Syndrome (NBCS)’. I have and addiction but till now, i would say its still manageable and my condition is actually improving quite steadily lately.

Things, gadgets and apps i use daily are:

Blackberry Bold and of course with data package. I have 8 email accounts tied to my BB. Yes it is a lot and i must say most of the time these accounts are redundant, but again i paid for 10.Smartphones without data is just like owning a sports car and not being able to fill petrol – totally lame. In addition, i carry 2 other phones. Ya i guess its a lil too much.

On my BB, Ubertwitter is always on for the obvious reasons. I get my updates on tech, news, politics and connect to people here. If you are not on Twitter i just think you are so #yorais. Don’t get what does #yorais mean? Hmm..

TxtForward deserves some recognition. What this simple app does it that it will automatically forward a copy of every SMS to a selected email account. Recommend to forward to a dedicated account so your mailbox will never be flooded with SMS such as – TAIP 35584 untuk muat turun gambar XXX saya yang terbaru.

Lenovo 3000 G230 and MacBook 13″ are my other work and leisure tool. I have the best of both world – Windows and Mac but my pick will always be Mac. Lenovo is more for work while with my Mac, i do some minor photo editing and personal stuff.  Data are back up with a 250GB & 500GB external hardisk and 2 8GB Kingston USB drives.

Mails and more mails are read and replied using the unstable but super popular Outlook 2007 on Windows and Mail on that white beauty of mine. Both are synced using Google Calendar Sync App and also with one of my favourite app called Google ‘Awesome’ Sync for Mobile which does not only sync your calendar but also your entire phone book. Worry not if you ever lose your phone, you will only lose money not contacts.

Tweetdeck is always on. One of the most powerful and simple Twitter app for everyone. Need no explainations. Recommended for all.

Manual and any quick note taking will be on my 2 lovely Moleskines – 2010 Daily Planner ‘wrapped’ with Gin & Jacqie and Square Note Book. Moleskines are just so classy and nice.  You should get one, just forget about the price tag. GTD is the way to go.

To ‘wrap’ them all up i use a  Nike Core Laptop Messenger . Why so? Cheap & awkwardly outstanding. I must admit i secretly have something for bags and sneakers. It that normal?
