Me and Twitter

Most likely you have seen the logo before, somewhere sometime ago.

Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service created by then Cornell student Jack Dorsey that enables its users to send and read other users’ updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length. Updates are displayed on the user’s profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends (delivery to everyone being the default). Users can send and receive updates via the Twitter website, SMS, RSS (receive only), or through applications such as Tweetie, Twitterrific, Twitterfon, TweetDeck and feedalizr. I don’t know what is the fun of twittering, i don’t get it how come some people twitter so often, i don’t know why people want to tell the whole world what he/she is doing, i just don’t get it BUT i am twittering so much lately compared to about 9 months ago. Don’t ask me why because i just think it’s so not me.

It’s becoming a habit of me taking out my BB and twitter something random at any point of time of the day. I know nobody reads what i twitter but i still keep doing it. Again, i don’t understand why!

Twittering makes me so damn kaypo, i check what people twitter on and off. I reply to their twits, often i reply something irrelevant but i still do it. Currently i am following people like Ryan Seacrest,Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore, Threadless, Kevin Rose, Fred Durst, Anwar Ibrahim and few more personalities and group.Some of them are really interesting tho.
